To apply, click “Apply for This Position” on the right-hand side of the page.
· If you have never applied to SUSD #48 before select the button labeled "Create New Account and Apply." You will be prompted to create an applicant profile before you can start the application.
· If you have applied in the past to SUSD #48 enter your username and password and the system will retrieve your previously submitted applications and data.
USE YOUR FULL, LEGAL FIRST AND LAST NAME WHEN APPLYING –provide the name used on your submitted application to the school(s) to ensure prompt processing of your application and approval form.

Requirements:
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. **Chaperones must be 21 years of age.
Some Volunteers will be required to submit to a Background Check. Please note that this process may take up to 5 business days to complete.

If you do not have a social security number (SSN) please enter all zeros (000-00-0000) under the Background Screening portion of the application.

After you submit your application online you must contact the school(s) where you wish to volunteer. Volunteer applications cannot be processed without approval from the school(s) office. Please allow time for processing. Chaperones and non parent/guardians must complete a background and fingerprint check. Processing may take up to 8 weeks.
