Coronado is looking for a Head Volleyball Coach for the 2019-2020 season. 

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Education: BA degree preferred.
Arizona Teaching Certificate required. Upload certificate copy to application documents.
Valid AZ DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card required. Upload AZ FPCC copy to application documents. 

Must have completed “Fundamentals of Coaching” and "Concussion in Sports" class either online or in person. Link to course: http://www.nfhslearn.com/.  Upload copies of certificates to application documents.

If applicant does not have an Arizona Teaching Certificate, then two additional coaching certificates are required:  "First Aid, Health, and Safety" and "Coaching volleyball".  Link to course: http://www.nfhslearn.com/.  Upload certificates to application documents.

Skills: Ability to maintain effective relationships with students, staff and community.
Knowledge of fundamental principles of the sport.
Ability to adhere to administrative policies and directives of the program.

Prior coaching experience preferred, but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Positions in this class typically require: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.

Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, odors, chemicals, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, and intense noises.
