Requirements:

Volunteer Coaches must be at least 21 years of age.

Volunteer Coaches are required to complete a Criminal Background Affidavit, submit to a Background Check AND provide an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC) OR receive a one-time printing by the District.

Volunteer Coaches must obtain the following certifications:

· NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching

· NFHS Concussion in Sports

· NFHS First Aid, Health, and Safety Certificate/CPR (preferred)

· NFHS Cheer and Dance Safety Certification (High School Cheer/Pom/Spirit Line only)

After you have submitted your application online you will need to directly contact the school(s) at which you are requesting to be a volunteer coach. Volunteer Coach applications cannot be processed without approval from the school(s) office – please allow time for processing.
